Cyber Newsletter: 7-8-10 Dear

Cyberhawks; Just a few reminders:

Vortex Open: The Vortex Open 3D and field archery tournament is on August 21. You must pre-register and participation is limited. Those who register before the end of July ($5.00 discount) will automatically be entered into a special drawing for Vortex merchandise. Registration forms can be obtained at the clubhouse or contact information for Vortex online linked from Blackhawk's website.

Broadhead League: Our summer broadhead league will begin on Thursday July 15 and will run for 7 weeks. If you can't make a Thursday you and your partner (two archer teams) can post a score through Tuesday evening. The cost is $7.00 for members and $9.00 for non-members. Six of the weeks will be paid for with the seventh being a free bonus week. Food will be available on Thursdays along with adult beverages and good conversation. This is a great way to tune your hunting set up prior to the season. A sign up sheet is posted on the clubhouse board or just show up and register when you shoot.

Hey Cyberhawks;

Just a few reminders and requests:

Annual Clean-up Day: Saturday 6/12 is our annual clean up the grounds and clubhouse day. Get your hours in, partake in a free lunch and $.50 adult beverages. If you have trimmers, shovels, loppers, rakes, painting equipment or other tools you think may help us spruce up the grounds and ranges it wouldn't hurt to toss them in the vehicle. 8:00 am to about 4:00 pm. Rain date Sunday 6/13 although the current Saturday forecast is for scattered afternoon and evening showers and if it rains for a time we can retreat to the clubhouse chow down some pure Wisconsin 'Bush Beef' and take advantage of the reduced beverage prices!

Big III Tournament: Our leg of the Big III + Tournament is Saturday and Sunday 6/27 and 6/28. You may shoot this as part of the Big III + or as an independent tournament. We are looking for worker volunteers both days, morning and afternoon shifts. If you can help out please contact Mike DeLapp at: (608) 221-0074.

Youth League Indoor Range Closure: Our new youth program begins Saturday 6/19 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 or 5:00 pm depending if we have one group of shooters or two. During instruction the indoor range will be closed but all outdoor facilities are open. The number of participants we can instruct is limited. Leagues: We are about ½ done with our 3D league. For league shooters we have a week off the Thursday of 6-24 due to the Big III Tournament. Our Broadhead league will begin in mid July on Thursday 7-15 and will run for 7 weeks. More information on that will follow shortly. Keep it in mind. It is a great time and an effective way to tune up your hunting setup for the coming seasons.
